Coinciding with the XXII Anniversary of the kidnapping and murder of Miguel Angel Blanco, the foundation that bears his name has produced the photographic exhibition: The Voice of the White Hands, which tells, through annotated images, the story of this symbol against terrorism and in favor of the victims that was born after the murder of the professor and former president of the Constitutional Court Francisco Tomas y Valiente.
The Casa de la Cultura de Valdemorillo in Madrid will host in July, the exhibition «La Voz de las Manos Blancas», a tribute to the victims of terrorism and to the citizens who faced barbarism defending Life and Liberty.

This conclusion appears in a voluminous report made by the Police, to which Europa Press has had access, which analyzes the documentation seized in the offices of Easy Concept’s company in Alcorcón (Madrid) where documentation and material related to the different event companies of Francisco Correa’s business organization was stored.
The Police observe a «persistent dynamic of action in time», between 1999-2004, consisting of the issuance of a series of invoices in the name of the PP «which are subsequently cancelled and new ones are issued» but this time addressed to different foundations linked to this formation, in which the cost and the concept are altered.
The foundations used would be Faes and three others located at the headquarters of the party in Génova street in Madrid: Fundación Popular Iberoamericana, Fundación Instituto de Formación Política and Fundación para el Desarrollo Económico y Social de la Comunidad de Madrid.
«There has been the preparation of documents suitable for legal traffic where both the entity to which the service has really been provided and the concept for which it was provided have been altered, essential elements and with sufficient entity to affect the normal development of legal relations with awareness and willingness on the part of the participants to mask the reality,» says the Udef on this practice.

Didn’t Iturgaiz deserve to occupy one of the hundred and some seats in the hall, when he was the one who signed the militant card of the great absentee? Didn’t he have more merits than other participants, such as María Dolores de Cospedal, secretary general of the PP and Minister of Defense? (Not to mention the one who writes these lines, intervening as author of the book El hijo de todos)? Wasn’t that act in itself a tribute to all the victims of ETA through Miguel Ángel Blanco? Of course, Carlos Iturgaiz is also one of the living victims.
It scares me that Carlos Iturgaiz, whom I have only seen in person on one occasion, has not had a place of honor in the acts of homage to Miguel Angel Blanco. Because of forgetfulness? Because of an order from the superiority?
Cicero spoke of the fatal consequences of forgetfulness for the people. But, also, of complicit silence: «One fails the truth as much with silence as with lies». For this reason, today, I speak of a character who incredibly survived ETA’s lead, Carlos Iturgaiz, the silenced one, of whom not even his own people want to remember.
